Request a Signed Certificate
You may request a signed certificate from:
Prime Minister Mark Carney (for birthdays 65 years and above at five-year intervals);
Governor General (for birthdays 90 years and above);
His Majesty the King Charles III (for birthdays 100 years and above).
If the anniversary or birthday has already taken place, the message from His Majesty the King or the Governor General may be backdated up to 12 months.
Important Information
Please note: To ensure on-time delivery, we ask that you submit your request at least six weeks before the event date.
For certificate requests from His Majesty the King or the Governor General, please submit your request at least eight weeks before the event date.
Please note that only Canadian citizens may receive a congratulatory certificate from the Prime Minister.
